In Jan/Feb of 2016, I got the opportunity to work in the VaynerMedia office in Chattanooga, TN on a brand new social only campaign for the Fast Casual Restaurant chain, Ruby Tuesdays. The restaurant was suffering from an aging out ‘clientele’ & was looking for an innovative way to attract a completely new target market: Millennial Moms who appreciate health *and* quick options for their families.
Ruby Tuesday’s wanted to assure the Mom, that their restaurant is the place to achieve both those goals, especially in light of their completely revamped salad bar–rechristened the “Garden Bar.”
With over 70 new ingredients to highlight, my team decided the best way to introduce each item was through quick witted food puns–presented up as small-bite gifs. What better way to highlight the fun, quirky-ness of Ruby Tuesdays?
